Training areas with elevated shooting positions, valley-based target presentations, along with complex wind patterns provides training opportunities that are traditionally only seen west of the Mississippi River.
The facility is private. There are no members to disturb you, and no random “drive up” onlookers.
The facility itself is in the middle of 30,000 acres of unobstructed timber, with the closest residence over 1.5 miles away as the crow flies. There are no restrictions on shooting at night.
The property has been cleared with very careful planning in order to emphasize the development of target detection skills in natural terrain. The terrain will go from tall grass, partially forested to heavily vegetated. Targets throughout the facility can be hidden and painted to match the terrain.
With the ability to offer engagements out to 2,440 yards, as well as a 240-degree range fan will challenge the most experienced precision rifle shooter. This not a square flat range with linear target engagements.
With one of the most diverse target profile offerings in the country, riflemen will see a variety of shapes and humanoids, not just circles, squares and ipsc targets. All non-reactive targets past 500 yards have hit indicators not just attached with velcro, but bolted to the targets to reduce the opportunity for failures.
From the main gate, it’s 2 miles to the far end of the facility with shooting areas along the way which are all blind. There are holding areas established to separate following teams in order to eliminate “gaming” and any observation of shooters or targets which enables teams to truly be tested and evaluated.
